Contact Collen For Lessons
Our students are extremely important to us. Both the horses and students benefit from horseback riding lessons, and our whole staff loves to see them succeed. Horseback riding lessons help children increase their attention span, and have many added mental and physical benefits.

We offer private and group horseback riding lessons to children and adults. Our students learn horsemanship and riding techniques in both Western and English style. Initial Lessons can be scheduled by phone: 765-586-7930 or email at colleeneq@gmail.com.

We also work with 4H students to prepare for competitions. Our instructors help students and their families decide what classes to take. We work with students and their project horse.

Please contact us for rates.

Colleen's Background
Meet Colleen. Colleen has a BA in Literature with concentrations in education and music from Richard Stockton College of NJ. Colleen has been involved with horses since the age of 5 and began competition at age 7. She has been successful in Versatility, Reining, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship, Equitation, HUS, Hunter Hack, Trail, Poles, Barrels, and Showmanship during open shows, NJ State Horse Shows, APHA, and PtHA breed shows.

Previous to her move to Indiana in 2007, she gave instruction to youth in Southern New Jersey assisting in 4-H clinics and camps. Since her move she has successfully coached 4-H youth in Tippecanoe, White, and Warren counties, as well as adults who enjoy competition, leisure riding, or those preparing for a horseback riding vacation.

Her passion and intuition to teach others, centers her lesson program on the rider. Through the use of thoughtful discipline she creates a safe environment to learn, while her strong focus on proper balance provides clear communication between horse and rider. She uses multiple teaching styles, games, and visual aids to exhibit the relationship between the rider's balance and the horse's performance. To maintain integrity and improve her instruction she commits to continuous professional development by reading, auditing clinics, and taking lessons across disciplines.

When not working she enjoys yoga, going out on the trails, sports, and spending time with her husband and family.
